Our Mission and Our Vision
Our first priority is to make a difference in our community and the lives of its members. We will create and provide workshops, conferences and seminars that inform, inspire, bless and encourage positive actions and relationships. We will also create and host community events that are fun, exciting and meaningful. We hope you will assist us as we work toward creating a gathering place to hold these types of events,

5K Fun Run/Walk
We are sponsoring a 5K on the Confluence Park Trail in La Verkin. The trail follows La Verkin Creek and the Virgin River and features great scenery and a fairly steep climb out of the Virgin River Gorge as you near the finish line. It is great for a leisurely stroll enjoying the wildlife and river. You can also treat it as a race to test yourself.
Social distancing will be maintained as start times will be staggered at two minute intervals. Family groups can start together if they choose. Each participant will be timed independently and winners will be announced for those who want to race.
The map on the right shows the route and most of the trail is not on roads where vehicles are allowed.
Start location
SUU Headstart Parking Lot at 705 North 195 West, just off State Hiway 17 on the north end of La Verkin
Finish location
Near the animal shelter at the south end of La Verkin just past the River Rock Roasting Company (where you can get some food or refreshment after the event).
You can sign up here and receive your start time. Because of the staggered start, participation will be limited to the first 90 individuals or groups. Start times will run from 8 AM to 11 AM (if needed).
Suggested donation is $15 per participant, $35 per family group (up to 5). T-Shirts with our logo and the event name will be available at $20 each and may need to be sent after the event.
Some enjoy the scenery - we'd love to see you and allow you to participate.

Our Lifeline Conference was a big success. Eight wonderful speakers shared stories, skills, tools and resources to help all in attendence understand how to overcome depressions, anxiety and suicidal thoughts and how to help those who are in trouble. Plans are already underway to follow up with additional trainings, connections and events. Thank you to all those who made this a wonderful day and all those who attended.
